Next Year in Malaysia

I stood with an Asian Navigator leader with tears of joy streaming down his cheeks. He was an indigenous leader in a restricted country who had never met other Navigator leaders from outside of his context.  Through several days with 200 others like himself he realized that he was not alone, and that God was doing something much bigger than he realized. 
 
That was 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya.  We don’t bring our International Leadership Community together very often, but it’s time to do so again next September 2017 in Malaysia.  We’ve already been preparing for this for a year, and we still have a year to go.  Preparing for this gathering will be a significant focus of for our team as we gather this week, beginning today.  Please pray that God will pave the way to greatly bless these (now 300+) Navigator international leaders who continually lay down their lives for others.  (Numbers 6:22-27)
 
Prayer update:   This morning I was sharing with a friend how the Regional Directors meeting we just finished seemed like our best yet.  We engaged deeply in one another’s leadership challenges through live case studies and extensive prayer.  It’s a privilege to work with leaders who are also good friends, and it’s encouraging to see how the Gospel is continuing to move forward into many hard places.
