Urgent Prayer Memo

We were awakened at 1:30 AM this morning by a call telling us that our son in the Middle East has been arrested for “terrorist activity” (I.e., ministry among despised refugees) and he and his family are being deported.  Renée and I are flying there later today to help them to pack and leave.  Our son is still detained, and was quite sick with diarrhea before being arrested.  Our daughter-in-law is 8 months pregnant.  45 workers have been deported from this country in the last two weeks.  Please pray with us: Sovereign Lord, we call on You to rise up and defend Your servants there in the Middle East.  Fill them with Your supernatural peace.  Surround them with Your angels.  Take them by the hand and lead them when they don’t know what to do.
