In the Presence

I’m typing this in the airport as we travel to meet with our regional leaders in the Middle East.  The last time we tried to fly there we had to do a U-turn because of Iran’s drone attack on Israel.  We’ve been asked to lead them in seeking God each day, and we feel led to do so from some of the many passages written by people of God living in war zones.  Plus we’ll be helping them to flesh out plans for training their next generation leaders.  Lord of the Harvest, please deeply encourage and equip these workers serving under the constant threat of war.  Prepare a table for them in the presence of their enemies.

P.S. The retreat with “the last mile” group was the best we’ve had.  I think that we’ll look back on it as a tipping point.
