Rest & Recover

My work has steadily accelerated over these last 20 years of serving with the International Executive Team, finishing with a 10-month sprint of international travel. During that same period, I’ve been recovering from my bike accident and traumatic brain injury. I’m still doing daily physical and ocular therapy, and my doctors are optimistic that more rest will help me to complete my recovery by the end of this year. So, it’s time for a prolonged rest to let my body and soul rest, recover, and reset to new rhythms. God our Healer, please restore David’s health.

PrayFirst,

David

P.S. Releasing and relinquishing has gone well, although more work than I expected! It takes a while to close out 20 years of projects and responsibilities, plus we had several days of full-time grandparenting added in there. Plus, a series of events full of generous affirmations from my fellow leaders and fellow workers have been deeply encouraging. Now we are ready to downshift to focus on resting and recovering.
