Our Next Chapter

A new chapter in our ministry is around the corner!   After 20 years of serving with the International Executive Team I transitioned off that team at the end of September.  We have been working toward this for a couple of years.  We’ve already added members to our team who are now taking on all my major organizational responsibilities. I am not retiring!  I am repositioning.  I’m 69, but there’s a lot of tread left on my tires.  However, at this point I do need a sabbatical to rest, reflect, reflect, refocus, then redeploy.  I’ll spend October closing out some things, then I will work with a sabbatical support team from November to May to discern what is next.   Please pray with me: Good Shepherd, please renew David’s strength and refocus his contributions for this next season.

PrayFirst,

David

P.S. The Lausanne Congress in Korea may be the most impactful event I’ve ever been to, launching hundreds of collaborative action teams to work together to fulfill the great commission.  We had 80 Navigator leaders there from across the world.  I pray that we will collectively step up to serve well.
