Our Descendants

Thirty-five years ago, Renee and I thought that God was calling us to live overseas, but God interrupted and told us that it would be our descendants who would go. He spoke to both of us independently about this from Isaiah 54:2-3, “You will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your descendants will possess nations and will resettle the desolate cities.”  Today many of our spiritual descendants are serving all over the world, and two of our physical descendants are serving as missionaries. In early 2020, they will each shift into two of the most challenging countries in the world in terms how many missionaries have gone versus how much fruit we’ve seen so far.  Nicole Lorelei and her family are moving to Japan.  Hudson and his family are moving to another country in the Middle East.  Let me know if you’d like to hear their story from them directly, and perhaps partner with them in prayer and / or giving.  Today please pray, “Lord of the Harvest, please lead David and Renee’s descendants to resettle these spiritually desolate places.”

P.S. The Spirit showed up in Nigeria and did what He does so well.  I was surprised to end up facilitating over half the sessions. At one point, I was confused and feeling desperate for breakthrough. I took a break and prayed, and suddenly I began seeing how things were coming together. When I shared what I had seen, the 70 Nigerians were dead silent. I thought that I had blown it badly. But one said, “There is a Hausa saying that silence is agreement.”  That was a turning point. Nigerians love to sing, so later we danced and sang this song about it: “Little children, little children, this work is Mine not yours.  So, relax & rejoice in Me.  Let Me do the work through you.”  Here’s an audio snippet of us singing: Little Children.  Thanks for praying!
