Beloved Partners
There’s nothing like friendships that are deep and lasting, especially friendships with those who are working with us for the progress of the Gospel. The Apostle Paul felt that. Although he had never been to Rome, in Romans 16 he greeted by name 26 of his beloved friends in Rome. He called them fellow workers, loved ones and holy ones.
Tomorrow Renee and I get to go spend a weekend with a group of such friends who have been sacrificially partnering with us for thirty years. We are rejoicing that, once again, God met our year-end need for funding. But we need more friends who will partner with us month by month in prayer and giving through the year.
Please pray that God encourage our ministry partners and raise more like them. (2 Corinthians 9:1-5)
Answer to prayer: Thank you for praying for our leadership team meetings last week. We were dealing with difficult issues. And I had to miss the first and last days dues to illness. But at several points others said things like, “I felt like the Lord really helped us there… That turned out better than I expected… I am encouraged.”
