Spirit & Power

This weekend I’ll be speaking at a gathering of business leaders in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Then, Renée and I will invest an afternoon with some of their elders.  The marketplace is a tough environment to live out one’s faith.  They don’t need a clever message or an impressive presentation.  They need what Paul offered according to 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “a demonstration of the Spirit and of power”.  Holy Spirit, please so fill David that his message will be a true demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that the faith of these business leaders will not rest on David’s wisdom, but on the power of God.

 P.S.  I am very pleased with what I’ve seen God do over the last week in two meetings with Navigator Church Ministry leaders.  I’m surprised by the clarity and oneness of mind that seems to be emerging so quickly.  Thanks for praying.  May this ongoing work yield much lasting fruit!
