Laying Hands

Laying Hands.jpg

Please pray for us as our team helps to prepare some key leadership teams around the world to select and lay hands on new leaders.  Nothing immediate, but preparations are crucial.  Such times are always times of vulnerability and opportunity.

Please also lay your “virtual hands” on Renée for her healing.  She ended up in the ER last week with super high blood pressure that has been coming and going for a couple of weeks.  The doctor says it’s caused by something other than her heart and circulatory system… maybe something with hormones, maybe a direct attack of the enemy, but not panic attacks.  We know of two others in our circle of friends who experienced the same symptoms with no apparent physical cause.

P.S. I’m rejoicing over the outcomes of these two recent international virtual gatherings of Navigators:

  1. Over 100 Navigator pioneers from dozens of countries gathered to spur one another on in the progress of the Gospel in one major religious group.  Wow.  The needs are intense, and the stories are inspiring.  Most importantly, they were deeply encouraged and helped, and are eager to form learning communities and clusters.

  2. A dozen or so leaders of our Global Enterprise Network gathered to encourage and equip one another in serving and resourcing over 400 missional enterprises in over 30 countries.  We helped to launch this network about 12 years ago, and it was deeply encouraging for me to see their progress.  I hope that you enjoy these links to videos of some of those missional enterprises:  Long Miles Coffee was built from the ground up as a missional enterprise in Burundi and is now branching out into other countries around Africa.  The Scottish Entrepreneurs Community is a gathering of Navigators who are seeking to advance God’s kingdom through their existing small businesses.
