Why So Few?
There are at least 700 Disciple Making Movements (DMM’s) in the world today, but (almost?) none of them are in the West.
What is a Disciple Making Movement? DMM’s are characterized by having at least four spiritual generations, at least 50 new communities, and experiencing an increase of at least 500 new believers in a span of three to five years.
Why so few in the West? You can read more about “movement killers” at Movements Everywhere - Why So Few In The West? This weekend I’ll be at a DMM Summit to discuss that very question. Please pray for us as we gather: “Lord of the Harvest, please lead us in the ways and paths of Your harvest.” (Psalm 25:4)
P.S. Worried about the Coronavirus? I encourage you to listen to this inspiring 5 minute report from a Navigator right at an epicenter of the epidemic: Coping with Corona. Over the weekend the Lord led Renee to pray with one of our neighbors who was in tears with anxiety over the epidemic. Let’s keep praying over open doors to bring the Gospel of Peace to those around us! (Colossians 4:2-6)
