Bless My Sons
My two oldest sons, Wesley & Calvin, are businessmen facing faith challenges. Many don’t look at businessmen as living by faith, but they do! Wes is leaving his job as a certified financial planner and launching some new business ventures that he hopes will be a blessing to the nations. Cal is in the intense process of becoming a Certified Management Accountant so that he can become financial controller of an engineering firm. Both are looking to God for His blessing. Please join me in calling down God’s blessing on them as in Numbers 6:22-27: “Thus you shall bless [your sons]. You shall say to them: ‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you peace.’ Thus, you shall invoke My name on [your sons], and I will bless them.”
Prayer Update: I had an interesting experience with the teaching sessions that I asked you to pray for. I did not feel good about the Don’t Waste the Pain session. I went home discouraged. Maybe I had been overconfident and trusting in myself because I’ve spoken on that so many times. So, I came into the last two sessions desperate for the Holy Spirit to do what He does, and He did. You can access my notes from all three sessions on my resource page at www.fromthelyonsden.com.
