Wisdom for Progress

It’s true.  All over the world the Gospel is growing and bearing fruit (Colossians 1:6).  But it’s also opposed!  That’s why Paul prayed that the Colossians be filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:11).   Like Paul’s team, our team serves movements of the Gospel all over the world.  As we gather in early May, please pray that God will fill us with spiritual wisdom and understanding.

 Prayer Update:  The Lord truly “showed up” at our NavWorld conference and equipped us to live as authentic disciples in an increasingly hostile world.  Of all the NavWorld conferences I’ve attended, this one challenged and helped me the most. 

 In the midst of the conference, Renee and I took Saturday afternoon to remember our son, Ian, who went to heaven at 13 years of age on April 27, 2009.  You may be blessed by clicking on the links below to listen to two songs that are encouraging me deeply as I remember Ian: 

1.      One More Move.  This song about Ian and our family was written and recorded by Kathy Gray, and arrived as a complete surprise to us the very day that Ian went to heaven.  Listen to the end!

2.      Ain't No Grave.  This song consistently brings me to tears and takes me to heaven and back as I imagine Ian singing it from heaven, especially the last part.
