Strengthening Souls

Toward the end of their first whirlwind missionary campaign, Paul and Barnabas circled back through what is now Albania and Turkey “strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith and saying, ‘Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.’” (Acts 14:22) Later this week I’ll be with the leaders of our most fruitful and increasingly dangerous work here in the Middle East.  Please pray that God will strengthen their souls, and through them nurture the emerging foundational generation of indigenous workers from the majority religion there.
 
Prayer Update:   I am deeply encouraged with how God showed up in the Lighthouse Missional Enterprise Conference.  I mentioned to you how inadequate I felt.  God filled that gap with His supernatural enabling grace.  Leader after leader came to me to share how they were transformed during our time together.  I am shaking my head in amazement at His grace.  Do it again, Lord!
