Waging War
It’s easy to forget that we are in a war. All over the world the Gospel is bearing fruit and growing, but is intensively opposed by our enemy. So, when our team meets, it’s a war council. I often say that when Navigator leaders agree on something, it is evidence that there is a God in heaven. We each have strong opinions! However, Proverbs 24:6 says to wage war by wise guidance, and in the abundance of counselors there is victory. As our team meets during the first week of February, please pray that God will give us oneness of heart and mind… with Him! (Romans 15:5-6)
Prayer Update: We made it! We experienced extraordinary grace during our 10 days of intensive grand-parenting in Los Angeles. All the Barbuttis were sick with the flu when we arrived. Nicole Lorelei was in Urgent Care. But within 24 hours they were all healed! As we collapsed into bed at the end of each day, Renee and I would look at each other and ask, “How did we do this with 7 children?” Fresh grace arrived each morning, we bonded with our grandsons, and their parents made great progress toward discerning where to launch a new base in Asia. More on that later.
