Reset
I think of you and my heart rejoices. Thank you for your friendship and prayers.
Our sabbatical has been a wonderful gift. It has been years since I’ve felt so encouraged. We’ve rested reflected and refocused. Now we’re refreshed as we enter a new season.
But I have a concern. I believe that God led me into this sabbatical to for a reset, a recalibration. My intensity can be both a gift and a curse. And God is seeking to transform the dark side of my intensity. During this sabbatical I have been learning what it means to enter His rest as taught in Hebrews 3-4 and Psalm 95. I am learning that Israel’s failure to enter God’s rest came when He purposely led them into impossible challenges. Unlike most of God’s people, Moses learned to calmly listen to God’s voice and experience God doing the impossible for him.
I want to live like Moses. God has begun a good work in me.
Prayer Request: That as I reengage He will complete the transformation that He has begun. (Philippians 1:6)
