I grew up in a dead liturgical church.  So when I see robes and rituals in a church I don't naturally expect to see Life and Truth.  But, God did initially lead me to Himself through a faithful remnant of people who were following Christ in that setting.

Someone once said that it takes a village to raise a child.  Likewise, I believe that it takes a worldwide partnership to help Navigator missionaries to succeed in our calling.

I love to savor cheesecake, one delicious bite at a time.  In the same way, I'd like to savor what God did with us in Fortaleza, sharing our story with you one vignette at a time over the next few days.  I want to somehow give you a taste what we experienced.

Why not prayer-walk the darkest corners of Fortaleza?  Why not ask God to give you that notorious crack house and brothel as your house of prayer?

Renee went to Fortaleza in late May to help our daughter, Nicole Lorelei, to welcome her 2nd child into the world.  On Renee's 2nd day there a drug addict from the neighborhood stood at the door screaming in terror.  Her name was Laticia
